This feed applies one hard rule: a coin qualifies only if its first pool went live inside the last 24 hours. Everything older is gone, no matter how heavily it trades. Each card shows that pair age as a live counter next to the ticker, so you can see at a glance whether you are looking at something four minutes old or twenty hours old, alongside market cap, price, 24-hour volume, liquidity and the 1-hour change. The feed refreshes on the same 6-second beat as the rest of the site.
Already trending, not the raw launch firehose
Solana mints an enormous number of tokens every day, and almost none of them ever trade. We do not show that firehose. New Pairs is the trending list narrowed to fresh launches, so a coin has to be both under 24 hours old and drawing real trading interest to appear. That double filter is why this feed sometimes shows fewer than 26 cards: on a quiet stretch there simply are not 26 brand new coins with genuine activity behind them, and we would rather show nine real ones than pad the grid.
What pair age tells you about a new coin
Pair age is the time since the coin's first pool opened, not the time since the token was minted, and it is the most honest number on a new card. A pair minutes old has no trading history at all, so its market cap and 1-hour change are built on a handful of trades. A pair that has held together for many hours has at least survived its first wave of buyers and sellers. Age is not safety: plenty of old pairs go to zero and some new ones do not. Read it next to liquidity and volume, never alone.

A coin whose first liquidity pool went live within the last 24 hours, measured from the pool's creation time, and which is also trending right now. Once that first pool passes the 24-hour mark, the coin leaves this feed, although it can stay on the Trending grid indefinitely.
Why does this feed sometimes show fewer than 26 coins?
Because both conditions must hold at once: under 24 hours old and already trending. When the chain is quiet, fewer than 26 fresh launches have real trading behind them, so we show only the ones that qualify instead of filling the grid with coins nobody is trading.
Is this every new token launched on Solana?
No, and deliberately so. Solana mints a vast number of tokens daily and the overwhelming majority never attract a single meaningful trade. This feed is the trending list restricted to fresh launches, so you see new coins that are actually being traded rather than an unfiltered stream of mints.
How quickly does a new coin appear?
As soon as it enters the trending source we use, which we re-read every 30 seconds. In practice a launch needs enough trading activity to reach that list first, so this feed follows genuine interest rather than the moment of creation. Card figures then update every 6 seconds.
Are new pairs riskier than older coins?
A brand new pair has no track record, thin liquidity is common, and the price can be moved by very small trades. We show pair age, liquidity and volume so you can weigh that yourself. We do not screen for scams or rug pulls, and nothing here is financial advice.
Can I keep watching a coin after it passes 24 hours?
