Trending Solana Coins: Frequently Asked Questions

Short answers about the feeds, the data behind them, the watchlist and the Copy Coin button. If you want the full method instead, the How it works page documents the whole pipeline end to end.

What is pumpfinder.fun?

A live screener for trending Solana coins. It puts the 26 most trending coins on one screen with their price, market cap, 24-hour volume, liquidity, 1-hour change, pair age and socials, and refreshes every 6 seconds. Three feeds share that list: Trending, Gainers and New Pairs.

Is it free?

Yes, completely. There is no paid tier, no trial, no login wall and no feature held back behind a subscription. There are also no ads and no paid placements on the grid, which means no coin can buy its way onto the page or improve its position by paying us.

Do I need a wallet or an account?

No. pumpfinder.fun never connects a wallet, never asks you to sign anything and has no sign-up at all. It is read-only: you look at data and follow links out. Your watchlist and sort preference live in your own browser, which is the only state the site keeps.

How often does the data update?

Your browser fetches a fresh snapshot every 6 seconds. The price tick behind it refreshes on that same beat, the trending ranking every 30 seconds, and the DexScreener figures every 10 seconds on our side, though DexScreener recomputes them about every 30 seconds, so those can lag slightly.

Where does the data come from?

Two public sources. Jupiter supplies the 1-hour trending ranking for Solana and the live price tick. DexScreener supplies liquidity, the market cap basis, the pair link, logos and socials. Your browser never calls either of them for prices or rankings; it only talks to our API, which keeps one shared cache for all visitors. Coin logos are the exception: those load from the host the project publishes.

Why did a coin disappear, or the order change?

Because the ranking is rebuilt from live trading activity every 30 seconds, so coins rotate in and out continuously. The grid holds the order you are reading rather than resorting itself under your cursor: when the ranking has moved on, a "new trending — refresh" chip appears, and pressing Refresh, switching feeds or returning to the tab adopts the newest order. If a coin's only indexed pool stops trading we stop trusting that pool's figures, but the coin itself stays on the grid while it is still trending. Star a coin and it stays in your watchlist regardless of the grid.

Why does New Pairs sometimes show fewer than 26 coins?

Because a coin must satisfy two conditions at once: its first pool must be under 24 hours old and it must already be trending. On a quiet stretch fewer than 26 fresh launches have real trading behind them, and we would rather show the ones that qualify than pad the grid.

What does pair age mean?

The time since the coin's first liquidity pool opened, not the time since the token was minted. It ticks live on every card. A pair minutes old has almost no trading history, so its figures rest on a handful of trades. Age is context, not safety; read it alongside liquidity and volume.

Why do Gainers require $10,000 in liquidity?

Because percentages from thin pools are meaningless. In a pool with a few hundred dollars in it, a single small buy can print a four-digit gain that nobody could have traded. The floor counts a coin's liquidity across all of its pools, and keeps the board on moves that happened where the price was deep enough to mean something.

What does Copy Coin do, and what does it not do?

It copies a coin's public metadata to your clipboard as JSON in a launch wizard's import format: name, ticker, the logo as an embedded PNG, whichever of the website, X and Telegram links exist, and neutral defaults for decimals and supply. It creates, mints and launches nothing, connects no wallet and signs no transaction.

How should I use Copy Coin responsibly?

Treat copied metadata as someone else's work. Names, tickers and artwork can be owned, and cloning a live project so its holders mistake yours for theirs is deceptive and can be unlawful. Listing a coin here is never an endorsement of it. If you build something, make it your own.

Is any of this financial advice?

No. pumpfinder.fun displays public market data and nothing more. We do not recommend coins, we do not check contracts, holders, mint authority or rug risk, and appearing on a feed only means a coin is being traded. Crypto markets can go to zero. Do your own research.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. The layout adapts to phone screens: the sidebar becomes a compact top bar with search and the watchlist, and cards stack into a single column. Everything else behaves identically, including the 6-second refresh, Rank by, the watchlist and Copy Coin.

Is there a public API?

No. The endpoints behind the site are internal, undocumented and free to change without notice, so please do not build on them. If you need programmatic Solana market data, go to the upstream sources we use, Jupiter and DexScreener, and read their own API terms.

How is my watchlist stored?

In your browser's local storage on this device, holding up to 30 coins. There is no account, so the list never becomes a profile of you on our side, and it does not follow you to another browser or device. Clearing your site data clears it permanently.
